At Ali Deem Counseling, I believe that mental health care is a basic human right; not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. I’ve seen firsthand how the current healthcare system, especially mental health care, too often leaves people behind: underfunded, undervalued, and inaccessible to those who need it most.
For me, living in line with my values means actively creating new ways to promote equitable, accessible care—not just talking about it. That’s why I’ve created a scholarship fund within my practice.
I’m committed to doing my part to push back against the broken system and build a practice rooted in compassion, justice, and community care.
